Our Team

Edwin, our Chief Executive Officer, has an MBA from Barnard and is a certified Biologist. Before forming About Dog Health, he contributed insightful commentary and advice to several prestigious publications. He lives in NY with his wife, children, and their three rescue dogs.

As a longtime pet owner and advocate, he hopes to convey his distinctive perspective of sharing a home with animals. He has a lot to say about raising pets as loyal companions and being good parents to them after helping at numerous animal shelters and neighborhood rescue organizations.

Edna is an author, animal lover, and bibliophile. She has writing expertise in education and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Marketing. 

Edna advocates for adopting rescued animals and has virtually always done so. She treasures dogs of all sizes and would adopt them if she could!

Gordon has been a copy editor and writer for online journals for a long time. He has been a professional writer and editor for more than 25 years. He also has years of expertise in fundraising communications, public relations, and marketing, focusing on the medical field. 

Gordon studied journalism and mass communications as a graduate student and possessed a BA in English from Fordham University.

As a veterinarian and animal surgeon, Doc Gail always loved to write and interact with animals. She has accumulated a plethora of expertise in first opinion small animal practice, in clinical and managerial roles, since earning her degree from a Veterinary College in England. 

Doc Gail joined About Dog Health upon moving to the USA. She relishes spending time with her family, including an energetic flat-coated Rothweiler, Gary, when she isn't working or writing.

Victoria majored in veterinary technology and shifted her professional focus online to share as much information as possible about animal welfare. She understood that assisting animals was her passion as she grew up. 

Victoria started working in an emergency animal hospital after receiving her license and a degree in veterinary technology. She traveled the globe and provided her skills to as many animal rescue organizations as she could discover.
